Sat 18th Nov – Beach Baby
Just a normal weekend, just two days to rest and recuperate. Just a normal office worker here, starting a blog.
Activities:
- Haircut from Asian hairdresser in Bondi Junction. Prices volatile for a ladies cut – inflation can even hit mid-cut, making it difficult for the invisible hand to work – while mens is always a flat $20. An economic curiosity.
- Investigate the beach. Very warm in the sun. Warmth compelled Declan to nap while I read Rhys Nicholson’s completely irrelevant book Dish. The big font was a plus when bathed in the soporific warmth.
Food:
- Cooked first dish from Alison Romain, charred green beans with a tahini yogurt and a vinegary chili dressing. Recipe below.
- Served with Diana Hendry’s Ndjua Capsicums from Simple https://www.telegraph.co.uk/recipes/0/roast-red-peppers-burrata-nduja-recipe/

What a cool website, I love it. How did you get your blog setup? You must be very technically minded.
I employed a very skilled and handsome boyfriend.
Enjoyed day one.
Have a couple of technical issues.
The link took me to a pay wall so couldn’t read the article.
The blistered green recipe was a bit difficult to read.
Promising start. Look forward to reading your last blog for Sunday
To the blog master. Just noticed the time stamp on my comment was wrong. Caitlin suggested that the it department would look into that.
